THE HINSDALE HISTORICAL SOCIETY WOMEN’S BOARD

The object of the Hinsdale Historical Society Women’s Board is to be a volunteer service organization for its members to be dedicated to support the Hinsdale Historical Society and its mission to collect, preserve and promote the history of Hinsdale, Illinois, and to foster an awareness and appreciation of its history and architecture through fundraising approaches, education, programs, exhibits and the maintenance of historical resources and properties in the Village.

The Women's Board is governed by bylaws approved by the Hinsdale Historical Society Board of Trustees. The organization is comprised of an Executive Board, Directors, Advisors and offers general membership. The HHSWB meets monthly for reports detailing fundraising progress of Signature Events, details of Special Events and educational programming.

We invite you to be a member of the HHSWB if you:

• are seeking a purposeful organization that offers opportunities to volunteer.

• are interested in keeping Hinsdale’s history alive in the minds of children and adults.
• wish to be placed on a mailing list for special and signature events as well as receive a calendar detailing annual meetings and free educational programs.
• would like to meet “like minded” women who have interests in bettering their community through networking and social endeavors.

Please read the membership welcome letter from the Hinsdale Historical Society Women's Board President, Hope Lloyd.
